Sweet guys, definately keep reading and send us news when you can. We like comments! We're sweating already and it is only 9am. Bit of a change from spring in Seattle ...
Nearing the end of our year long trip, we will be in Ghana Africa installing solar pumping stations to provide clean accesible water to 3 villages. We will be working with Always On Solar, a 501 c(3), and World Vision. Check out the project at http://www.sunepi.org/SunEPI/Ghana.html
Having known each other since we were 15, we eloped at 28 and at 29 decided to quit our jobs and hit the road. Kelly wanted to see lemurs and lions and boabobs and Michiel wanted to climb Madagascar limestone and Yosemite granite. We decided to do a bit of both...
Wowee! Wish I was in your shoes now. I'm sure you guys will have an awesome trip. Looking forward to following you online.
ReplyDeleteYay Kelly and Michiel! Can't wait to read about your adventures while I sit at my desk and fantasize about being on an adventure.
ReplyDeleteSuper stoked for you both! You know I'll be checking the blog. I'm a big fan of blogs. Blog, blog, blog.......blog.
ReplyDeleteThought of you when skiing at Whistler. Skied many times to the Mid Station to where you hiked rather than buy a ticket. Best wishes Susan and Derek
